Privacy Policy

EdgeNode is a personal analytics tool. Your biometric and trading data stays yours — we collect only what's required to run the app and never sell your data.

1. What We Collect

Account identifier — a unique user ID generated when you sign in with Apple or continue as a guest. Stored by our authentication provider (Supabase).
Health data (with permission) — heart rate and heart rate variability (HRV) read from Apple HealthKit. This data is used on-device for state classification and is not transmitted to our servers.
Trading session metadata — trade entries you log inside the app (timestamps, P&L values you enter manually). Stored against your account so your data syncs across your devices.
Subscription status — managed by RevenueCat to verify that your Edge Pro subscription is active. We do not see or store your payment details.
Crash and diagnostic data — if you opt in via iOS, Apple may share anonymised crash reports with us to help fix bugs.

2. What We Don't Collect

We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties.
We do not collect contacts, photos, microphone audio, or location.
We do not use advertising SDKs or build advertising profiles.
We do not transmit raw HealthKit data off your device.

3. How Your Data Is Stored

HealthKit data (heart rate, HRV) is read on-device only. State classification happens locally; the resulting summary state (focused, overheated, flat, calm) may be stored against your trading sessions in our backend so you can review history.

Trading session entries and your account ID are stored in our backend (Supabase). All data in transit is encrypted with TLS.

4. Apple Watch

If you use the EdgeNode Apple Watch app, biometric data syncs directly between your iPhone and Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. This is a local, device-to-device connection — no data passes through any server.

5. Third-Party Services

Apple HealthKit — reads health data on your device only. Apple Privacy Policy
Supabase — stores your account ID and session data. Supabase Privacy Policy
RevenueCat — manages subscription validation. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
Apple StoreKit — handles all payment processing. Apple's privacy policy governs payment data.

6. Children's Privacy

EdgeNode is intended for adult traders aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time:

Sign out — Settings → Sign out (clears local session data).
Revoke HealthKit access — iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → EdgeNode.
Delete account — email empire@tan.wiki from the Apple ID associated with your account, subject "Delete my account." We confirm and delete within 30 days.

8. Disclaimer

EdgeNode is a personal analytics tool. It does not provide investment advice, execute trades, or move funds. All trading decisions are your own. EdgeNode is not a medical device and should not be used for medical diagnosis or treatment.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and notify users in-app where appropriate.
