Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 30, 2026
1. What We Collect
- Account identifier — a unique user ID created when you sign in with Apple or continue as a guest. Apple Sign In returns a stable token; we never see your email unless you choose to share it.
- Daily check-in data — the signal level (strong, moderate, none), date, and any notes you write. Stored on your device using iOS UserDefaults; not transmitted to a server.
- Goal & streak data — the goal you set during onboarding and your streak count. Local-only.
- Subscription status — managed by RevenueCat to verify Peak Pro is active. We never see or store your payment card details.
- Crash and diagnostic data — if you opt in via iOS, Apple may share anonymized crash reports with us so we can fix bugs.
2. What We Don't Collect
- We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties.
- We do not collect contacts, photos, microphone audio, location, or HealthKit data.
- We do not use advertising SDKs or build advertising profiles.
- We do not transmit your daily check-in data off your device.
3. How Your Data Is Stored
Daily check-ins, streaks, goals, and reminders are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults. Removing the app or signing out clears this data.
Account identifier and subscription status are managed by RevenueCat (a payments-and-entitlements processor) and Apple's StoreKit. All data in transit is encrypted with TLS.
4. Notifications
If you grant notification permission, Peak schedules a single daily local reminder at the time you choose to prompt your morning check-in. Reminders are scheduled on your device and never include personal information. You can disable them anytime in iOS Settings → Notifications → Peak.
5. Third-Party Services
- Apple Sign In — handled entirely by Apple. Apple Privacy Policy
- RevenueCat — manages subscription validation. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
- Apple StoreKit — handles all payment processing. Apple's privacy policy governs payment data.
6. Children's Privacy
Peak is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
7. Data Deletion
You can delete your data at any time:
- Sign out — Profile → Sign out (clears your account locally).
- Delete the app — removing Peak from your device deletes all local check-in data.
- Delete account — email empire@tan.wiki from the Apple ID associated with your account, subject "Delete my account." We confirm and delete within 30 days.
8. Disclaimer
Peak is a personal analytics tool, not a medical device. The signal levels, streaks, and insights it surfaces are based on your own self-reported data. Peak does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition and should not replace advice from a qualified medical professional.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and notify users in-app where appropriate.
